I recently found out that the government 'childrens' agency CAFCASS is in partnership with a 'charity' called CORAM. I would be grateful for any information that can be provided on this relationship, especially on CORAM's 'charity' status.
Basically, CORAM are in the business of 'receiving' somebody else's children and helping the new parents to come to terms with the adoption process. Don't get me wrong, CORAM probablt does do some good work, what I am interested in here is if there is a conflict of interest -the relationship with CAFCASS could not be more ideal. CAFCASS are in a position to promote adoption of children under their watch, which the CAFCASS agent in our case did for over 10 months, and pass them on to their partner, CORAM.
This is what CAFCASS have to say about themselves:
"Cafcass looks after the interests of children involved in family proceedings. We work with children and their families, and then advise the courts on what we consider to be in the best interests of individual children."
The interests if the children involved? The female CAFCASS agent in our case, decided 10 months ago that our children would be best served if the 3 1/2 year old twins are adopted and permanently separated from their 6 year old brother. CAFCASS and the Social Services believe the twins are too young to be traumatised and that 'therapeutic' work should be provided to the older brother. They seriously believe that some therapeutic bullshit-artist is gonna magic away all that heartache and pain from that little boy!!
Are these people fu@king psychopaths?
Well, they have got their way. Let me get this straight, the SS and CAFCASS have been working together over the last year towards the same result: destroying the reputation of the parents through ceaseless vilification, conjecture and fabrication; force-adopt the twins and either 'dump' the older boy with the grandparents or a life in foster care.
Their mantra: "Destroy the parents, get the children, destroy the parents, get the children"
These crafty, low-life bastards knew that it would be near impossible to adopt out twins aged 3 1/2 years and their 6 year old brother - because they could not make the older brother forget who their parents are; who there relatives are; where they come from; and who has done this to them!
No, the older brother posed too much of a threat to their plans so they then brought in a reliable hitman, aka independent social worker called Mrs. SW. This woman had no qualms about conspiring to deprive the children of their basic and fundamental human rights. She met the children and the mother on two occasions, the father only once, briefly, and forged a whopping document slandering the parents and their lack of 'attachment' to the children, and vice-versa. This woman had to be brought in from Scotland to conduct the character assassination on the parents, but she did her job. She was not a lone-gunman. I repeat, she was not acting alone!
Here is a classic paragraph from her document:
“This would raise questions for the twins as they grow older as to the reasons why they were not placed within their birth family and skilful work will need to be undertaken to support them in developing a 'coherent story' about their past and reducing any potential feelings of rejection or self-blame.” [direct quote from Mrs. SW ]*
In direct contravention of:
United Nations Convention on the Right of The Child
Article 8
1. States Parties undertake to respect the right of the child to preserve his or her identity, including nationality, name and family relations as recognized by law without unlawful interference.
2. Where a child is illegally deprived of some or all of the elements of his or her identity, States Parties shall provide appropriate assistance and protection, with a view to re-establishing speedily his or her identity.

I trust CAFCASS as much as I would trust my worst enemy with a big sword and a gun to my head. I began thinking last year: why is this CAFCASS agent be so determined to destroy a family and permanently remove the children for adoption? Well, children are big, big business. Spend a day or two one the internet and you will see for yourself that children have become an industry in their own right - hundreds of millions of pounds to be made.
CAFCASS's partner CORAM somehow manages to maintain charity status in the UK. They are an adoption business; without children they make no money. Therefore (and obviously) the more children sent their way - by the government agency CAFCASS - the more money they make. It is really that simple. The conflict of interest is gross but it exists and the 'authorities' legitimise the relationship and do not question it.
How are the public protected from this conflict of interest? They are not.

Looking through the finances towards the end of the Annual Review, I start to feel like this is a business with charity status!? If anyone can provide any details or information on CORAM and its charity status please forward to this blog.
Investment & Property Income between 2007 and 2008 = £1.19 million. And are a charity?
Fees for services provided over the same period
= £6.536m. They sell there services and are a charity?
Tangible fixed Assets Fund nearly £4m?
What kind of charity has a £215,000 Furniture and equipment fund?
A £3.645 Building Repair and Maintenance Fund?
£18m surplus balance sheet.
Starting to look like an extension of a government agency (CAFCASS) to me?
£2m on its Adoption service - now that is a lot of kids! Wait until the partnership with CAFCASS is unraveled nationwide and this figure is set to multiply.
But, CORAM is only one of scores of adoption agencies spread out across the nation. How big is this 'industry'? How much are British children worth to these people?
If anyone can provide any details or information on CORAM and its charity status please forward to this blog. How can their status be inspected or challenged?
What more could be done to highlight the conflict of interest between CAFCASS and CORAM?
